Project Approach

Principally, we apply our 4D model to provide a structure and framework to manage and deliver cost-effective and high value solutions:

1 DEFINE An initial stage of discovery and analysis work to confirm the scope and deliverables of the initiative and the plan for its delivery
2 DESIGN The design of all key components required to deliver the final solution, and any interfaces that exist between them
3 DEVELOP The development and testing of all system components, and related materials (eg. training collateral)
4 DEPLOY The deployment of the solution, including final data migration and training activities

Through the course of the delivery cycle, professional resources will also be engaged to manage the project to ensure it delivers to time, budget and quality expectations.

Following deployment, we provide a high quality customer care service called evolve – to ensure your system is always fit for purpose and attracts high user adoption.

Timescales and Costs

The timescale involved with delivering an empower initiative (i.e. one that involves the implementation of one or more cloud computing applications) depends on number of factors, including:

1 – The scope of the project
2 – The complexity of processes and functional requirements
3 – The number and complexity of systems interfaces and integration points
4 – The scope and depth of data migration needs
5 – The scope of end-user and administration training needs
6 – The availability of client resources to support the delivery cycle

For guidance, a minimum investment of 5 days of consulting resource is recommended to deliver a core solution.

One or more senior and highly experienced consultants would typically be engaged to support the delivery of an assignment. Our rate card for implementation projects is as follows:

– For Commercial businesses: £850 per day
– For Not-for-Profit organisations: £600 per day

All costs are subject to VAT.

Project Outputs

EMPOWER is all about implementing business solutions in a way that is cost-effective, robust, and deliver a real and positive difference to your management, workforce, customers and other stakeholders.

Im summary, a typical empower project would include the following deliverables:

PROJECT CHARTER To define and confirm the scope and deliverables of the project, and how it will be deliervered and managed
PROJECT PLAN Typically a phased/stages plan that describes – across a time horizon – the key activities and tasks to be undertaken, the resources associated with its delivery, and key milestone points
REQUIREMENTS SPECIFICATION A summary of the business, technical and functional requirements of the target solution
SOLUTION DESIGN SPECIFICATION Describes the core components of target solution, the associated data model, key system interfaces
SOLUTION/ APPLICATION The target application, developed, integrated (as required) and fully tested
DATA MIGRATION SPECIFICATION An outline of the key data source files, their assocaited mapping and transformation rules, and the method for their migration/importation into the target application
TRAINING MATERIALS To support end-user and administration training

For smaller / kick-start projects, however, we also offer a SmartStart programme – which is particularly suited to smaller organisations who are anxious to get a core solution in place, within a rapid timeframe.

Although much of the work we do is associated with delivering solutions on the Salesforce.com platform, we also have extensive experience with a range of other applications and tools that interoperate and integrate with Salesforce.com – such as ClickTools, dotMailer, Marketo, Conga, ExactTarget, Synety, and many others.
