10 creative ways to use clicktools with salesforce.com

We are big fans of the Clicktools integration with salesforce.com – especially now that the user interface has had a makeover – but many customers don’t realise how many creative ways the app can be used to make teams more efficient and agile.  Although it consistently wins best survey app on the Appexchange – it does so much more than surveys…

Here is our TOP 10:

1. Avoid the need for web development if the registration or application forms on your website change often by adding Clicktools links which map directly to the appropriate salesforce record

2. Add telephone script guidelines to data capture forms for your call centre agents to prompt them whilst collecting lead or customer information

3. Send out an update your personal details form with pre-populated fields to let your customers tell you if there are any changes (add the odd profile question in there too but not too many!)

4. Create landing pages quickly for marketing campaigns with a short life span – share links via web and email and update / measure response results automatically in salesforce

5. Automate event campaign responses to ‘accepted’ or ‘declined’ and collect other information such as dietary requirements, guest details and more when you send out email event invites

6. Simplify and speed up internal data entry across multiple objects – using one form you can populate or update several records at once

7. Bypass the need to clone records one by one – enter details on one Clicktools form and map to create multiple records on submit for mass cloning

8. Automate a feedback survey using workflow rules when customers reach a key stage in a sales opportunity, after an event or as part of regular customer experience programme

9. Post Clicktools links on social media sites and blogs for feedback and promotions responses or use within Chatter

10. Use the Clicktools document upload feature to upload files and photos to salesforce attachments associated with the record you specify

    Could you let me know where I can find a how to on automating a feedback survey using workflow rules when customers reach a key stage in a sales opportunity (point 8 of the above).
